What Is The NeurOptimal Brain-Training System?

Last updated 3 years ago

Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, drug-free, brain training system that can naturally help improve concentration, alleviate anxiety, and boost memory. In addition, the American Federal Drug Association has approved neurofeedback for helping patients reduce stress and the American Pediatric Academy has approved neurofeedback as a supportive treatment for children with ADHD. Here’s a closer look at how the NeurOptimal Brain-Training System can help you enhance your health and well-being.

Neurofeedback history
For nearly 40 years, Biofeedback technology has been available. Unfortunately, the lack of a practical delivery system meant that it couldn’t be used until relatively recently. Past neurofeedback technology systems required multiple computers and technicians. Today, Zengar Institute, Inc. has introduced the NeurOptimal computer program. This technology is easy to use and conveniently loads onto a laptop computer.

Neurofeedback technology
The NeurOptimal Brain Training System encourages a patient’s central nervous system to make better use of the brain’s neural resources. Specifically, it stimulates the brain to draw from sources of positivity instead of sources of negative thoughts and feelings. The treatment helps patients adopt a more positive mindset in which they don’t focus on recurring, negative thoughts. As a result, this treatment has been effectively used to improve ADHD symptoms, alleviate anxiety, and improve sleep disorders.

Neurofeedback treatment
A patient’s treatment begins by filling out a survey of the complaints or challenges he or she wishes to correct through NeurOptimal treatment. Next, the patient will sit in a quiet, comfortable position. The technician will use special sensors to gather information about the patient’s brain wave patterns and input this feedback into the NeurOptimal program software. A typical session lasts approximately 30 minutes. Throughout the session, the patient will hear music playing or watch relaxing geometric images on a computer screen.
